is it necessary to have full head protection for paintball (ie, JT Flex 8 Full Coverage)?
my dad’s complaining that the standard goggles such as a Proto don’t provide enough protection for the head. Opinions please?
You really should’nt need any more protection than the standard mask. Its really rare that you get shot in the back of the head in Paintball. Even if they Manage to hit you, It won’t really hurt as much as stun you. Your head is hard and cantake the hit as long as its got a mask on so you dont get face-shotted. If he persists tell him you can wear a backwards hat or hoodie under the mask to shield your head from impact. If this is your first time paintballing, wear some black or dark green clothes if you have them and long pants. Gloves are also recomended. Good luck and happy new year.
